By creating an account or using PolicyPat, you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of your organisation. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
PolicyPat is a hosted, multi-tenant back-office platform for administering funeral policy records — policy and dependant data, payment tracking, bulk import/export, document storage and team access controls. It's provided on a subscription basis, priced by policyholder count.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your organisation's account. Admin users control who on your team has access and what role they hold. You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
You agree not to use PolicyPat to store or process data you don't have the right to hold, to attempt to access another tenant's data, to interfere with the platform's operation, or to use the service for any unlawful purpose.
You're responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the policyholder, dependant and banking data your team enters into the system, including having any consents required from the individuals concerned. We process this data on your behalf to provide the service — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these terms, don't pay subscription fees when due, or where required by law. On termination, your data is handled per our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
PolicyPat is provided "as is". While we take reasonable care to keep the service available and your data accurate as entered, we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and aren't responsible for decisions made based on data your team enters incorrectly.
To the extent permitted by law, PolicyPat's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
